Students selected for Area All-State Music Festival

Thirteen Goshen High School students have been selected to perform in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Zone 9 Area All-State Music Festival on November 21 and 22. To earn this distinction, each student prepared and performed an advanced-level solo for a NYSSMA judge last spring, with their evaluations submitted to the Area All-State committee for review.

This year’s festival, hosted at Cornwall High School, will feature talented musicians from more than 40 school districts across five counties in New York State.

Goshen’s selected participants are Ava Carroll, Ella Eulau, Brian Loftus, Logan Redeker, Tarunya Balamurali, Paige Raquet, Jacob Loter, Colby Bridges, Meridith Greene, Merhi Ghezel-Ayagh, Jacob Duzdevich, Jovani-Samuel Duzdevich, and Rosie Li.
