This #FacultyFriday we are celebrating Nancy Clark, a Goshen native and 6th grade teacher at C.J. Hooker Middle School who has been teaching with us since September 2003!
“I was born and raised in Goshen,” she said. “My parents, my three daughters, most of my family, and I are all alumni of this great district.”
Clark has degrees from OCCC, Pace University and Mt. St. Mary College, with permanent certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and a Social Studies Extension.
As for goals this year, Clark said the following: “I want all kids to know they are special and can be successful in life. I hope to make a difference in their lives so they believe in themselves, gain self confidence, and contribute to the world.”
Outside work, Clark enjoys gardening, reading, going to the beach, travelling, spending time with her children and her puppy!
BONUS fun fact: If she could time travel to any time period/event from history, Clark would love to meet Mother Theresa. “She was a phenomenal, selfless person who impacted so many.”
Thank you so much for all you do Nancy Clark! We appreciate you!!
