#FacultyFriday: Danielle Borowitz

A graphic with a photo of a woman in a cowboy hat states, "Meet Attendance Aide Danielle Borowitz."

Next up for Goshen’s #FacultyFriday series is Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School Attendance Aide Danielle Borowitz.

A transplant from Westchester County, Borowitz joined Goshen CSD in August 2022 and has always found herself drawn to working with children. She brings experience from a children’s hair salon and daycare in addition to her time spent in the district.

Borowitz is attending Mercy College to earn her master’s degree in Childhood Education.

“My goal is to become a first grade teacher,” she said, “however for now, in my position, my goal is to just be the best I can.”

What is she looking forward to most this year? Borowitz says she looks forward to seeing students’ smiling faces every day and listening to their stories about the weekend.

When she is not working, Borowitz has been getting ready for her upcoming wedding in October, spending time with her two dogs and three cats, and listening to country music.

Thank you for all you do, Danielle Borowitz! We appreciate you!
