The student of the month is:

  • Committed to success – The student strives for success in all they do and works to the best of their ability.

Grade 6

1. Peter Cirigliano is a great choice for Student of the Month for the 6th Grade Yellow Team. He is an excellent student who consistently does his best and takes pride in his work. What stands out most about Peter, though, is his kindness and willingness to help others. He is always ready to support his classmates, offer encouragement, and lend a hand when someone needs help. Congratulations, Peter, on this well-deserved recognition!

2. Taylor Daniels is a positive influence within our school community and consistently contributes to making our classrooms and school a welcoming place for everyone. Through her kind words, encouraging attitude, and thoughtful actions, she helps create an environment where others feel valued and supported. Taylor leads by example, showing responsibility, compassion, and a willingness to include and assist her peers. Her positivity and dedication to making our school a better place make her truly deserving of this recognition as Student of the Month.

3. Sai Smotra- Congratulations to our Student of the Month, Sai Smotra!  Sai’s presence makes our classrooms a better place.  She leads by example through her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to learning.  She approaches all classroom activities with care and determination, always putting forth her best effort.  Most importantly, she treats everyone with kindness and respect.  She is considerate of her classmates and teachers and is always willing to help someone in need.  We are so proud of all that you have accomplished this year, Sai!

4. Matthew DiNoia-Matthewis a hard-working student who always tries his best. He stays after school and puts in so much effort to do well. Matthew always has a smile on his face and is willing to help out a peer. Matthew is respectful and polite. He is a positive influence on his peers. He is a great example of a student who wants to learn. Have a great summer Matthew!

Special Areas:

Lemon Savatta is a hardworking and self-motivated individual who consistently takes responsibility for her tasks. She demonstrates proper safety techniques at all times, making her a positive influence in the classroom. Her enthusiasm for learning and dedication to perfecting her craft are truly inspiring to those around her. Lemon’s strong work ethic and commitment to excellence set a great example for her peers.

Grade 7

1. Ava Costescu has been a dependable and diligent student throughout the year. She has risen to the challenges and rigor of 7th grade with a positive attitude and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Ava is a student who does the right thing even when nobody is watching—a true testament to her outstanding character. She treats all members of our school community with respect and kindness and helps create an environment of acceptance and belonging. Congratulations, Ava, and best of luck next year!

2. Abigail Hodge has consistently demonstrated kindness, respect, and responsibility throughout the entire school year. Abby is the type of student who genuinely cares about others and always strives to do her best. She arrives to class prepared, completes her assignments, and is always thinking ahead. Abby regularly asks thoughtful questions because she wants to learn and produce her best work. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and caring nature make her a wonderful role model for her peers. Congratulations, Abby, on being selected as our June Student of the Month!

3. Josiah Medders- Josiah has earned Student of the Month because of his steady hard work and positive attitude in class. He stays on top of his assignments, follows the rules, and is respectful of his classmates and teachers. Additionally, his grades this quarter have improved due to his extra effort. Great job, Josiah! Keep it up in 8th grade!    

Special Areas:

Anthony Naula is a hardworking and dedicated student. Anthony is often one of the first to participate in class discussions. He is curious and asks questions to further his understanding of the class material. Anthony has shown responsibility in staying on top of his work as well as being prepared and organized. Anthony is social and friendly, allowing him to get along with classmates so well. He sets a great example in his behavior and attitude for others to follow. Congratulations to Anthony on being selected Student of the Month – well deserved!

Grade 8

1. Prianna Waterton is an intelligent, diligent, curious, and thoughtful student who demonstrates a high level of independence and maturity.  She is conscientious, determined and is a strong respectful advocate for herself. Prianna is persistent, articulate, and hardworking.  She is well poised, sociable and friendly, always respectful, polite and appropriate.  Prianna is a quiet leader, who leads by example and demonstrates strong character.

2. Brielle Pinnock is a patient and thoughtful student who is a pleasure to have in class.  She consistently comes to class prepared and with a positive attitude. Brielle is diligent, respectful, and committed to academic success.  She collaborates well with her classmates and displays a warm, welcoming demeanor. Brielle’s efforts and the respect she shows others are to be commended.  Congratulations to Brielle!

3. Zachary Rosado-Zach is receptive to new ideas and constructive feedback. He puts in consistent effort and hard work. He pays close attention to details and uses his time wisely to complete classwork and homework. Zach is a respectful student to his teachers and tries his best.

Special Areas: Tyler Mayo is an outstanding student and member of the Band Program. Tyler is the 1st Trombone player for both the Symphonic Band and the Jazz Band. His work ethic and positive attitude in the classroom as well as the band room serve as examples for other students to follow. He is kind, respectful, and friendly – making him a pleasure to have in any setting. Congratulations to Tyler – well deserved!
