Mock Crash Training is taking place on June 5

The following is a letter from Goshen High School Principal, Mr. Pantaleone, regarding an upcoming training taking place for seniors at Goshen High School:

Dear Goshen Community,

On Thursday, June 5th at 12:45 PM, Goshen High School will be conducting a Mock Crash simulation for the senior class. This important educational event is designed to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving.

Please be advised that emergency personnel will be on-site participating in this activity. This will include representatives from the Village of Goshen Police Department, EMS, the Goshen Fire Department, and a medivac helicopter. The simulation will take place in the gravel parking lot located above the District Parking Garage, visible from Scotchtown Avenue School.

We understand that such simulations may be emotionally challenging for some students. In partnership with ADAC (Alcohol & Drug Awareness Council), we will be offering a trauma-sensitive informational session for any student who prefers not to participate in the event.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we provide this powerful and potentially life-saving experience for our students.

Sincerely,

Nick Pantaleone, Principal
