- Students may be dropped off as early as 7:00 AM

Important Notes
- Students stay with the same peer group for ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
- Students mix with all sixth graders during specials.
- Team placement letters are mailed in August.
- Teacher/team requests are not accepted.
- Students are not grouped by ability level.
- Counselors meet with 5th-grade teachers to assist with placements.

Students will typically have homework from multiple classes.
Homework impacts report card grades.
Google Classroom is frequently used for assignments.

Chromebook Expectation
Student Responsibilities
- Each student receives a Chromebook and charger.
- Devices must be charged nightly.
- Lost chargers must be replaced.
- Damaged devices require repair costs.
- Chromebooks and chargers must be returned if a student leaves the district.
Approximate Repair Costs
- Screen: $50
- Keyboard: $10–$50
- Lost devices are billed at replacement value.
Discipline
The school is committed to a safe and productive learning environment.
Students receive the district Code of Conduct.
Parent/guardian and student signatures are required.

Lockers
Lockers are available to all students.
School-issued locks are required.
Personal locks are not permitted.
Students should not share combinations.
Valuable items should be left at home.
