Middle School Chamber Orchestra brings holiday cheer to Galleria Mall

On Sunday, Dec. 17, the C.J. Hooker Middle School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Barton Schindler, treated family, friends and shoppers to a delightful mix of holiday and concert music at the Galleria Mall in Middletown.

For some students, this was their first time performing in a public setting. Other orchestra members, such as 8th Grader Madison Tito, performed with the group last year as well. According to Madison, she was nervous last year but much more confident this year.

While many family and friends were in attendance to support our orchestra students, dozens of shoppers stopped by to enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Chamber Orchestra.  We thank the members of the Chamber Orchestra for volunteering their time to spread some holiday cheer!
