School Closings, Delays and Early Dismissals

When inclement weather occurs, the Goshen Central School District may be forced to close, delay its opening or dismiss  students early. Information will be shared in the following ways:

Closings, delays and early dismissal information will be posted on the district homepage and each school homepage.


District families and employees will be notified of school closings, delays and early dismissals via recorded telephone messages, emails and/or text messages through the SchoolMessenger notification service. Parents and employees will receive weather-related news via their selected contact preferences within the Weather Related Delays/Cancellations alert found in their InfoCenter. Learn more
