About the superintendent search

The members of the Board of Education of the Goshen Central School District is working with Strategic Educational Advantage, LLC (SEA) to conduct its search for the next superintendent of schools.

“One of the greatest responsibilities of a Board of Education is to hire a superintendent who possesses the qualities of a true educational leader,” said Board President Jason Pucci. “We believe that hiring a professional search firm such as SEA will provide the best pathway to finding a candidate that our school community expects and deserves.”

The superintendent search process will incorporate community and faculty/staff involvement through interviews, surveys and public forums. SEA will gather feedback from the school community — students, teachers, support staff, administrators, parents and community members — to create a candidate profile for Goshen’s next superintendent of schools. The new superintendent is expected to begin duties in July 2021.
