Goshen residents pass proposed budget for 2023-24 school year

On May 16, district residents passed the $89,119,147 budget for the 2023-24 school year by a vote of 755 yes votes to 274 no votes — an approval rating of 73.4%. Under the approved budget, the district’s tax levy is projected to increase by 1 percent.

Ashley Salte and John Sullivan will serve three-year terms on the Board of Education with 736 votes and 705 votes, respectively. Scot Selbo will serve an approximate 12.5 month term with 597 votes. Suzanne Aleman received  445 votes.
