Dear Scotchtown Families,
I just want to start off by thanking all of you for such a wonderful beginning at Scotchtown. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know your children and families. Goshen is such a wonderful community and I am so happy to be a part of it!
As most of you know, my husband and I are preparing to welcome twin girls in a couple of weeks. While I had originally expected to be in school until the end of May, at the advice of my doctor, I am going to begin my maternity leave early to ensure a safe delivery of the girls.
In my absence, Mrs. Lisa Rohrssen, our interim assistant principal, and Mrs. Deirdre Hallinan, interim principal, will be at Scotchtown ensuring the smooth running of school for the remainder of the year. They both have worked in the Goshen Central School District for many years and understand the expectations and needs of the building. I feel very lucky to have such capable administrators in charge when I cannot be there.
Throughout my leave, if you are in need of assistance, you can always reach out to the main office or they can be reached via email at Lisa.Rohrssen@gcsny.org and Deirdre.Hallinan@gcsny.org.
I appreciate all of your support and well wishes. I wish you a successful end to the year and a restful summer! I look forward to seeing you and your children when we return to school in September.
Sincerely,
Kristin P. Driscoll
Principal
