Goshen High School students in the First Aid and CPR class have the opportunity to become certified in CPR without leaving the classroom.
Under the direction of Kiersten Swayne, students are provided specialized instruction in first aid techniques, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), relief of obstructed airways, and general safety procedures and behaviors.
The course is designed to parallel the American Red Cross certification programs. Students will learn adult, child, and infant CPR and how to use automatic external defibrillation (AED).
In order to become certified, students must meet specific time and examination requirements. For more information about the First Aid and CPR class, visit the Goshen Academics page or contact your guidance counselor.
