Fourth graders learn to settle their minds with “Moody Cow”

Fourth graders recently made glitter jars to help them find mindfulness during times of stress as part of the district’s Choose Love program.

Fourth graders in Michele Pacciarelli and Kelly Mecocci’s class recently read “Moody Cow Meditates,” a story about how Peter the cow learns to settle his mind while having a bad day. Students created glitter jars that will help them focus their breathing, mind, and body whenever they might need to find mindfulness and calm. Our students have the courage to tackle any situation — because we all have have “Moody Cow” days!
