Dear SAS Families,
I am happy to announce that our Gladiator Gains program will begin tomorrow Tuesday, July 13. The program will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through August 12.
All students are scheduled to have transportation available and all parents have been called with route information. If you have not been contacted, please call the school at 845-615-6600. If you are dropping off your child, please utilize the small lot adjacent to the playground as your first drive in. Drop off will begin at 9 a.m. Pick up will occur at the same location and will begin at 11:45 a.m.
All students will receive breakfast and lunch daily. We are practicing a team teaching model for the summer, so teachers will rotate as students remain in their classrooms. Students will work with three separate teachers, each of whom will focus on one school subject (math, ELA, skills/fluency). Your child will be learning in just one room throughout the day and will be assigned to that same room for the entire summer.
On the first day, teachers and staff will be positioned outside of classrooms as students arrive and help guide your child to the correct room. You should have already received an email with your child’s room number.
