Goshen residents pass budget, elect members to BOE

On Tuesday, May 18, the residents of the Goshen Central School District passed the proposed $78,811,376 budget for the 2021-22 school year, with 1,041 yes votes and 301 no votes.

Residents also passed the proposition to purchase eight school buses with 920 yes votes and 421 no votes.

Shannon Johnson, Billy Castellane and Jason Pucci were elected to the Board of Education for a three-year term with 780 votes, 765 votes and 759 votes, respectively. Joe Connell received 599 votes, Judy Green received 407 votes and Martha Bogart received 381 votes.
