GHS senior Madilyn Bunzey wins OCMEA Scholarship

Smiling teen with long hair wearing a black drapeGoshen High School senior Madilyn Bunzey was selected as this year’s recipient of the Orange County Music Educators (OCMEA) Scholarship for vocal performance. Madilyn performed and submitted to the judges her rendition of Mozart aria in Italian.

In a normal year, Madilyn would perform her winning aria at the OCMEA  All-County Concert. Unfortunately, the concert will not take place this year due to the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Scholarship winners were selected from dozens of seniors throughout the county. All applicants are required to plan to attend a college music program after high school. For more information, visit the OCMEA website.
