Three students test positive for COVID-19

District officials learned that a student at Goshen Intermediate School, C. J. Hooker Middle School, and Goshen High School tested positive for COVID-19.

The GIS student was last in the building on April 9. All those who may be at risk of exposure were notified by district staff. Both the CJH and GHS students are remote and contact tracing is not required.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Remember that we can help stop the spread by following the guidance of the Orange County Department of Health, including washing your hands with soap and water, avoiding gatherings and group activities, and staying home when you are sick.

Join me in wishing a speedy recover to all of our unwell family members.
