CJH, GHS students test positive, no risk of exposure

Today, district officials learned that two students, one at Goshen High School and one at C. J. Hooker Middle School, tested positive for COVID-19. The infected individuals were not in the building during the infectious periods and do not pose a risk of exposure to colleagues or students.

Please note that The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Please remember that we can help stop the spread by following the guidance of the Orange County Department of Health, including washing your hands with soap and water, avoiding gatherings and group activities, and staying home when you are sick.

Please join me in wishing a speedy recover to all of our unwell family members.

Sincerely,

Daniel T. Connor
Superintendent of Schools
