Nov. 23: CJH student tests positive, no risk of exposure

Today we were notified that a C. J. Hooker Middle School student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Because the student was in quarantine and was not in attendance during the infectious period, the Orange County Department of Health is confident that there is not threat of exposure to students or employees.

Please note that The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact your building administrators or school nurse. Please stay well, continue to socially distance and wear a mask, and keep all of our unwell Goshen family members in your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Daniel Connor
Superintendent of Schools
