On Oct. 26, the Goshen Central School District Board of Education opened its application process for the next superintendent of schools.
The candidate qualifications were created by the professionals of Strategic Educational Advantage (SEA), the search firm hired by the BOE to conduct the superintendent search. In order to create the candidate qualifications, SEA used the valuable input gathered from the school community with the superintendent search survey and the virtual public forum. You can view the survey results and a recording of the public forum here.
Interviews are scheduled to begin in December with a new superintendent appointed in January. Please note that these dates are flexible. The new superintendent will begin his or her duties on July 1, 2021.
The members of the Board of Education would like to thank the entire Goshen Schools community for their tremendous contribution in creating the candidate profile. We will continue to update you throughout the superintendent search process. We also invite you to visit the Superintendent Search page on the district website to view the applicant brochure and informational video for our potential candidates.
