Orange County’s Red Ribbon Week will be held virtually October 23-30. Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention campaign. This year’s theme is BE HAPPY, BE BRAVE, BE DRUG FREE.
C. J. Hooker students are asked to show their commitment to a drug-free lifestyle by participating in the following Spirit Days.
Friday, Oct. 23– “Go Red”
Wear red, change light bulbs to red, dye your hair red – anything goes
Monday, Oct. 26 – “Follow your dreams”
Wear pajamas – must be appropriate for school
Tuesday, Oct. 27 – “Team up against drugs”
Wear your favorite sports team
Wednesday, Oct. 28 – “Lei off drugs”
Wear a lei, Hawaiian clothing
Thursday, Oct. 29 – “My future is too bright for drugs”
Wear sunglasses, neon clothing
Friday, Oct. 30 – “I’m too smart for drugs)”
Dress in your favorite career attire, favorite college shirt, military
