View the form: Student public relations for 2020-21

The Goshen Central School District is proud to communicate its students’ achievements and school/classroom activities to the local community. Goshen students are often featured on the district website, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), in printed newsletters and press releases to local newspapers.

Your child’s name, photograph and information, such as grade and teacher, may be shared to showcase his or her achievements and/or participation in school events/activities. This may include:

  • Photos, videos and social media posts featuring instructional learning, classwork or school projects, academic, athletic and/or art shows or awards, sports practices, or any other school-related activities or events.

PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD’S NAME, PHOTO OR INFORMATION FEATURED ON THE WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA AND OTHER PUBLIC RELATIONS. This is relevant for in-person and remote learners.

Filling out this form will not exclude students from honor roll lists or yearbooks.

We recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic may affect day-to-day activities and also want to assure parents that the public relations specialist will practice safety protocols such as social distancing and wearing appropriate face coverings while taking photos or videos of permitted students.

If you have any questions, please contact Public Information Specialist Christina Gore at christina.gore@gcsny.org or 615-6765.

Please note that this form must be updated each school year.

Please fill out the form ONLY if you do NOT want your child’s photo and information shared for public relations purposes. View the publicity form for 2020-21
