Seniors must register for one of six ceremonies to be held July 31
Based on guidelines established by executive order from the Governor of New York State, the Goshen Central School District must adhere to the following for its Class of 2020 graduation:
- Gatherings must be limited to no more than 150 persons.
- Proper protocols must be maintained at all times, including appropriate face coverings and social distancing.
With these mandates in mind, the Goshen High School will conduct six separate graduation ceremonies on Friday, July 31, at Goshen High School. The ceremonies are scheduled for:
- 10 a.m.
- 12 p.m.
- 2 p.m.
- 4 p.m.
- 6 p.m.
- 8 p.m.
Each ceremony can accommodate a limited number of graduates.
Students may register for only one ceremony using the link below. Registrations will be processed on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 and ending at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 20.
Each graduate is permitted to bring two guests to accompany them. To ensure compliance with mandated protocols, each graduate will be seated with their guests during the ceremony.
If a student wishes to make a change to their selection, they must contact Mrs. Karen Beilman via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone (845) 615-6105 before July 24.
Please note: In order to ensure public safety, traffic control, parking, accessibility, density, and management, a change of venue was necessary. Additionally, should restrictions change allowing a full in-person graduation, the district will make the necessary changes to accommodate our graduates.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times, and we look forward with great enthusiasm to share this special day with you.
