This week they reached the National Mall in Washington DC and the Canadian Parliamentin in Ottawa—up close and personal through the use of virtual reality headsets!

As part of a social studies unit, students in Mrs. Kropp and Mrs. Parchinski’s class have been learning about governments of the western hemisphere, with a little help from student-teacher Suela Marku.

The VR sets allowed students to go beyond the classroom walls and make real-life connections with their study subjects.
