On May 21, district residents passed the $73,249,777 proposed budget for the 2019-20 school year by a vote of 763 yes votes to 312 no votes — an approval rating of 71 percent. Under the approved budget, the district’s tax levy is projected to increase by 3.2 percent.
The proposition to purchase seven school buses passed with 766 yes votes and 307 no votes.
The proposition to establish a Capital Reserve Fund passed with 735 yes votes and 335 no votes.
Incumbents Michael Lorenzo and Jeremy Cassel will serve three-year terms on the Board of Education with 717 votes and 648 votes, consecutively. Jacob Gardner received 538 votes.
