Two Goshen Odyssey teams headed to State Competition

Two Goshen teams will advance to the Odyssey of the Mind State Competition March 23 at SUNY Binghamton.

Eight district teams competed in the Regional Competition at Orange-Ulster BOCES March 9, including three teams from C. J. Hooker Middle School, four from Goshen Intermediate School and one from Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School.

The C. J. Hooker Middle School’s “Classics…Leonardo’s Workshop” team and the Goshen Intermediate School’s “Opposites Distract” team took first place in their respective divisions at the Regional Competition over the weekend. In addition to the first place wins were a second and third place finish from two middle school teams.
