On April 4, Goshen High School guidance counselors will host a meeting for parents of juniors to discuss the college planning and admissions process. The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the high school library.
Counselors will review the process and procedures involved in college selection, application and admission as well as the financial aid application process. Parents have found this program very helpful in the past, and we hope that it will be of assistance to you as you and your college-bound juniors approach the task of planning for college.
We also encourage you and your college-bound junior to attend the Orange County Counselors Association College Night Program at SUNY Orange on Wednesday, April 30. Representatives from more than 175 colleges will be on hand to provide information regarding their institutions and programs. The program will be held in the Physical Education building from 7-9 p.m. Each junior will be given a list of colleges scheduled to be present.
We look forward to seeing you on these two important dates:
- College Planning: Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m. in the Goshen High School Library
- Orange County College Night: Tuesday, April 30 from 7-9 p.m. at the Physical Education Building at SUNY Orange
