Free meals available to students impacted by federal shutdown

On January 24, Governor Andrew Cuomo called on the New York State Education Department to ensure that students impacted by the federal shutdown have access to free school meals.

This applies to children of federal employees as well as children who rely on federal benefits that may be delayed because of the shutdown.

You may download the application for free- and reduced-lunch by visiting the Food Services Department page.

The district would like to remind all families that their child may be eligible for free- or reduced-price meals if they meet federal guidelines.

Questions may be directed to Director of Food Services Alan Muhlnickel at 615-6491.
