Goshen High School student arrested for making terroristic threat

Late this afternoon, the district was notified by the Village of Goshen Police Department that an eleventh grade student was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat against Goshen High School.

The threat was seen on social media by a parent who reported it to the police. The Goshen Police Department immediately investigated and the student was arrested.

After a thorough investigation, the police have determined that there is no threat to the high school and do not believe that the student intended to carry out the threat.

Superintendent Daniel Connor and district officials will continue to work closely with Chief James Watt and the Goshen Police Department. Parents, employees and the community will be updated as more information is obtained.
