Indoor air quality test results indicate no issues in classroom

Earlier this month, a kindergarten teacher at Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School reported a stale odor in her classroom to building administrators. The Orange-Ulster BOCES Health/Safety and Risk Management team was contacted and performed an indoor air quality test on November 9 to ensure that the classroom, as well as surrounding classrooms, was appropriate for occupancy by students and employees.

This afternoon, the district received the indoor air quality test results, which indicate that each tested classroom is adequate for occupancy by our students and staff.
