Letter: Regents exam review sessions to begin for specific students

Beginning in November, the Goshen High School will offer Regents exam review sessions to a specific group of high school students. In order to qualify for these review sessions, a student must have received a passing grade in his/her Regents course from this past June, yet failed that course’s corresponding Regents exam.

Parents will be notified by their child’s guidance counselor if their child is eligible for these review sessions. All eligible students are expected to attend. Students will be excused only if their parent/guardian requests an exemption via telephone call to Guidance Department Head Jim McLoughlin.

Review sessions will run from November 13 to January 17 and will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during tenth period. Students will be instructed by their guidance counselor as to where their review session will be held.

Please be reminded that bus transportation is available to students after tenth period. Questions should be directed to your child’s guidance counselor at (845) 615-6120.

Thank you for your continued support.
