GHS musicians earn top accolades at Music in the Parks

Dozens of Goshen High School students performed in Music in the Parks at Hershey Park.

Six musical groups from Goshen High School recently participated in Music in the Parks at Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Each group earned outstanding accolades, including several overall winners and best instrumental and vocal soloists:

  • Chamber Orchestra – First Place – Superior Rating  (Overall Best Orchestra Winner)
  • Jazz Voices – First Place – Superior Rating (Overall Best Chorus Winner)
  • Stage Band – First Place – Superior Rating (Overall Best Band Winner)
  • Varsity Choir – First Place – Superior Rating
  • Full Orchestra – First Place – Excellent Rating
  • Best Instrumental Soloist – Donovan Teeple (GHS Stage Band)
  • Best Vocal Soloist – Davgil David-Gil (GHS Jazz Voices)
  • Symphonic Band – Second Place – Excellent Rating
