Students place in ADAC’s substance abuse poster contest

Several Goshen Intermediate School students placed in the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council’s (ADAC) 31st Annual Substance Abuse Prevention Poster Design Contest.

The students created their posters during art class with Art Teacher Robert Hoover. More than 900 entries were submitted from students throughout Orange County.

Third graders Madison Hunter and Melanie Bonito took first and third place, respectively, in the grades 1-3 category.

Fifth graders Lefa Brown and Kayla Glebocki placed first and second, respectively, in the grades 4-6 category.

In addition to the top three finishers, several students received honorable mention:
