Louise Lynch appointed assistant superintendent for business

Louise Lynch was appointed assistant superintendent for business at a board of education meeting on April 3. She will replace Robert Miller, who retired April 1. Read more about Robert Miller’s retirement

Lynch began her career as school business administrator/district clerk for the Chatham Central School District in 2001. She then held business administration positions at the North Salem Central School District, Mt. Pleasant Blythedale United Free School District and the West Park United Free School District from 2006-2012.

Lynch comes to Goshen from the Highland Central School District where she served as school business administrator since 2012 and oversaw the district’s $42 million budget.

Lynch will begin her new position on May 7. Until then, Meryl Rubinstein, who was appointed March 5 by the board of education, will continue to serve as interim assistant superintendent for business. Read more about the interim assistant superintendent for business
