Students at the C. J. Hooker Middle School showed solidarity for tolerance, acceptance and friendship by wearing blue in honor of World Day of Bullying Prevention on October 2.
During lunch periods, School Social Worker Lynette De Jesus offered students an online “quiz” to test their knowledge of bullying and DASA (Dignity for All Students Act). Students were also invited to sign a pledge to show their support for bullying prevention.
“It’s a great reminder for students to be kind to each other, especially at the start of the school year,” said De Jesus.
