View a letter from the principal about parent orientations

Traditionally, each fall, we host a Parent Orientation for the first and second grade families in the opening weeks of school.  Please see the schedule below for more information about this year’s orientation program.

Thursday, September 7

  • First Grade: 6-6:40 p.m.
  • Second Grade: 6:50-7:30 p.m.

The purpose of this evening is to give you an overview of your child’s academic program for the school year.  This is not an opportunity to conference about individual students, rather just an overview night.  Parent-teacher conferences occur later in the year in November at report card time when teachers have had an opportunity to get to know the students better.

Save the Date! Special Areas and Academic Intervention Services (AIS) will hold their own orientation night on Wednesday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m.

We hope you can make it, and we look forward to embarking on another great year with you!
