Nina Pasquini named National Merit Scholar

Goshen High School senior Nina Pasquini is one in 1,000 – meaning that out of 1.6 million students who entered the National Merit Scholar competition by taking the PSATs, only 1,000 students were selected as National Merit Scholars.

Nina and was recently celebrated at the high school with a special breakfast in her honor surrounded by her family, teachers and administrators, and friends.

Nina is one of this year’s Honor Grads and will attend Harvard in the fall. She is an AP Scholar with Distinction, received a Gold Medal for the National Latin Exam and was selected as a Goshen Great for Biology Honors, Advanced Latin and AP Literature and Composition.

Nina is president of the World Language Honor Society and Chamber Orchestra, is co-president of the Mock Trial Team, was selected for All-County and Area All-State Orchestras for violin, and is a member of Odyssey of the Mind and the National Honor Society.

Nina is the daughter of Hunhee and Victor Pasquini of Goshen.
