Ten Goshen High School students honored as Goshen Greats

The Goshen High School recently honored 10 students for their accomplishments in a specific subject area. The Goshen Greats Program recognizes the unique achievements of one student from each major discipline each quarter. Students are nominated by their teachers for accomplishments that are benchmarks in their academic career or demonstrate school leadership.

The Goshen Greats and their families were invited to a breakfast held in the cafeteria in their honor, where they were given certificates of achievement. The Goshen Greats are:

  • Fattum Abbad, nominated by Art Teacher Marc Pizzo for her achievements in Studio Art
  • Michael Aglione, nominated by Social Studies Teacher Mike Kelly for his achievements in Global History 9
  • Ally Bassani, nominated by Music Teachers Molly Lloyd and Kristen Scully for her achievements in Jazz Voices, Varsity Choir and the Musical
  • Jimmy DeLeon, nominated by Visual Arts Teacher Joe Fedor for his achievements in Stage Production
  • Samantha Gatto, nominated by Health Teacher Kiersten Jacobsen for her achievements in Health 10
  • Jessica Hendricks, nominated by Science Teacher Julia Chiarot for her accomplishments in Biology World
  • Amanda Lombardi, nominated by Foreign Language Teacher Claire Polanis for her accomplishments in French 3
  • Nina Pasquini, nominated by English Teacher Dr. Evelyn Schneider for her achievements in AP Literature and Composition
  • Jessica Racioppo, nominated by Math Teacher Sarah Barquero for her achievements in Algebra 2
