Team members Andie Wong, Jamie Wong, Fattum Abbad, Judy Yim, Amanda Lombardi, Dempsey McGovern and Sofia Saul will perform its problem, Classics…It’s Time, OMER, against teams from across the country. The team is coached by Shannon Wong.

This team has dedicated itself to advancing beyond the Regional competition for years. For the past six years, the students placed second at Regionals, just missing the first place prize and advancement to States. This year, their perseverance finally paid off – they placed first not only at Regionals but at States as well and will now have the chance to compete at the World Finals.

According to Coach Shannon Wong, two students even passed up their school’s trip to Italy in order to compete at States.
