Principal William Rolon and Assistant Principal Heather Carman are proud to announce the February Students of the Month.
The student of the month is:
- Respectful – The student treats classmates, teachers and staff with respect by valuing each as an individual, respecting differences, and valuing the work that others do.
- Responsible – The student embraces the responsibility required to maintain progress in their schoolwork and other personal goals.
- Positive – The student contributes to the success of the school by promoting a positive school climate through their actions and words.
- Honest – The student communicates truthfully and in a respectful way with classmates, teachers, staff and refrains from dishonesty in completing academic work.
- Committed to success – The student strives for success in all they do and works to the best of their ability.
Shanna Siracusa: We are so pleased to nominate Shanna for Student of the Month. Shanna is very polite, kind, and a hard working individual. Shanna never gives up! What impresses us most about Shanna is that she is kind to everyone! She is a positive role model and leader to her peers!
Alexa Raquet is a wonderful young adult. Alexa is a very kind and caring person. She is always thoughtful and considerate when dealing with others. Alexa is also an exemplary student. She always puts forth her best effort to succeed academically. Her positive attitude and consideration for others makes her exceptionally worthy of being recognized as student of the month!
Alexandra Travell is a great candidate for student of the month. She models responsibility both in her actions and in her schoolwork. She shows great work ethic, always striving to do her very best. She is pleasant and cooperative and always displays a positive attitude. She is a pleasure to have in class.
Camila Galeno Balbuena is a very polite and hard working student. She is respectful to teachers and peers and maintains a positive attitude each day. She is an active participant in class and always has a smile on her face!
Special Areas: Camryn Roundtree is very engaged and interactive in our FC class. She is also kind and generous to her peers. I admire her genuine personality.
Thomas Focarile truly deserves to be student of the month, because he is a good friend, a responsible student, and a considerate classmate. Thomas has caring attitude towards his fellow students and is willing to work with or help anyone without being asked. Thomas always tries his best, and his presence and work ethic has a positive effect on his classes. He is an exceptional young man. Keep up the great work!
Jason LaCosta is a polite young man who always models responsible behaviors. His sense of humor often stands out, as he contributes in class activities. He has strong organizational skills and is prepared; he leads by example for his peers. Thank you Jason for for modeling such positive behaviors! Congratulations!
Cayden Maher is a positive young man who always comes to class with a smile.. Cayden is an active participant during class, asks engaging questions, and is the first to help a classmate. Cayden has a wonderful sense of humor and enjoys making his peers and teachers laugh. He is hardworking, thoughtful, and a dedicated learner.
Special Areas: Jared Garcia is an outstanding musician. He is caring and kind. We admire his overall excellent attitude!
Aidan Bridges is a conscientious student who is committed to excellence. He is respectful, empathetic and always appropriate. He is cooperative with adults and maintains positive friendships with his peers. Although quiet at times, he is academically assertive and is always attentive. He is a terrific addition to all of his classes.
Brianna Sanchez is a hard-working, responsible young lady who always strives to do her best and to be successful in her studies. Her respectful demeanor and positive attitude contributes to a positive school climate and set a wonderful example for her peers.
Christopher Bell has been doing an amazing job in school. Christopher walks to class with a smile and always greets his teachers with a soft spoken “hello.” Christopher has been working hard on class projects, homework, and independent tasks. Christopher is participating more and remains focused on his work. Christopher is always supportive of peers and is kind to all. Keep up the great work, Chris!
Special Areas: Gwen Aitchison has excellent leadership skills which show while she is working in groups. She’s currently doing an excellent job on her Olympics of the Visual Arts project which is a table setting for 4 inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Gwen and her group are creating the chairs, table, plates, silverware and centerpiece.
