Congratulations, Matt, and keep up the good work.

Anna Fitzgerald is a polite and courteous young lady. Not only is she respectful to adults and her peers alike, but furthermore, she is always prepared! Without having to ask a second time, she always follows directions and gives a notable effort. Anna always makes eye contact, showing she’s listening. Thanks Anna, for modeling such positive
behaviors for everyone here at C.J. Hooker Middle School and congratulations on a job well-done!

Kiley Howell is a great candidate for student of the month. She is very kind to her peers and respectful to adults. Kiley goes out of her way to find out how you are doing, and lifts your spirits with her personality and sweet disposition. Kiley is an excellent math student. She strives for grades of 90 or above in math and is willing to go the extra mile to improve her grade. Kiley is very deserving of this recognition.

Areyanna McCarthy is extremely talented in art. In January, she entered a painting and pen and ink drawing into the regional Scholastic Art awards and won a Silver Key award for each. Scholastic arts is a very competitive competition with about 2000 entries in our area so winning 2 silver awards as a 7th grader is very hard to do.

Grade 8

She is committed to excellence in her school work and sets a positive example for other students. She is a quiet leader, whose strong character is a model for her peers.

Amber Dumond is a polite and respectful student that knows the importance of focusing on her work in class. She is able to put aside any potential distractions and focus entirely on her work and what is expected of her in the classroom each day. Keep up the good work, Amber!

AdaSarah Bowman-Carroll is always willing to help out her fellow art students and she works hard. AdaSarah just won two Silver Key awards and 4 Honorable Mentions for her photographs at the Regional Scholastic Art awards. With about 2000 Scholastic Arts entries every year, AdaSarah winning 6 awards by herself is very hard to do.
