C. J. Hooker names November Students of the Month

Principal William Rolon and Assistant Principal Heather Carman are proud to announce the November Students of the Month.

The student of the month is:

  • Respectful – The student treats classmates, teachers and staff with respect by valuing each as an individual, respecting differences, and valuing the work that others do.
  • Responsible – The student embraces the responsibility required to maintain progress in their schoolwork and other personal goals.
  • Positive – The student contributes to the success of the school by promoting a positive school climate through their actions and words.
  • Honest – The student communicates truthfully and in a respectful way with classmates, teachers, staff and refrains from dishonesty in completing academic work.
  • Committed to success – The student strives for success in all they do and works to the best of their ability.

Grade 6
Trinity Pun has done an excellent job transitioning to her new school. Trinity works extremely hard, and never gives up. She is determined to do better. Trinity always comes prepared to class, and has a positive attitude. She is very kind to others!

Luke Michalski is a fun, enthusiastic, motivated student. His schoolwork is very important to him and he always strives to do his best. In addition he does not hesitate to assist his classmates. He is respectful and kind and a pleasure to have in class.

Taylor Galarneau is a responsible and hardworking student. She has a great sense of humor and kind personality. She is always willing to help others. Her positive attitude and commitment to learning serves as an excellent example for others to follow!

Francis McGuinness is a kind person to his classmates and is very respectful to all adults at school. Francis is a hard worker and strives for high marks in his classes. Francis is well rounded and enjoys the arts, music, and sports. He is deserving to earn student of the month.

Special Areas:
Kiara Paulino always took initiative in class to get the most out of our lessons. She also implemented her own lesson within the class on labels and how we need to all love ourselves for who we are, not the labels that people place on us. She is just an incredible young lady!!

Grade 7
Elizabeth Scolza is a very sweet girl and a hard-working student. She is very considerate of others, often putting their needs before her own. She is a positive member of her classes and showed great sportsmanship as a member of the modified volleyball team.

Imaan Beg is a responsible, respectful, hard working young lady. Imaan seeks help to be the most successful student she can be but more important than academic success, Imaan is a nice person who treats others with respect. Imaan is nice and accepting to everyone around her and her presence makes CJ Hooker Middle School a better place!

Ryan Gottleib is a very hard working student who uses his time wisely, always greets you with a “hello” and a smile, and is always willing to help out his fellow classmates.

Special Areas:
Ava Kaloz displays great leadership skills and is always kind and helpful. She is very deserving of this nomination.

Grade 8
Meghan O’Donnell is effervescent. She is an ambitious, highly capable, and diligent student who strives for excellence. She is inclusive of all students and generates an aura of positivity and friendliness wherever she goes. She is respectful and helpful to her peers and to adults alike.

Megan Amante consistently puts her best foot forward, is responsible, and takes her school work seriously. She is always willing to help her classmates, has a positive attitude, and is respectful of her peers and the adults in the building.

Anthony Perez – Anthony is a kind, friendly, and respectful student who always gives his best efforts in class. He has a positive attitude, is quick to lend a helping hand, and always has a smile on his face.

Special Areas:
Elizabeth Yerkes has shown great promise with her level of focus and attentions to detail.
