High School students honored as Goshen Greats

The Goshen High School recently honored eight students for their accomplishments in a specific subject area. The Goshen Greats Program recognizes the unique achievements of one student from each major discipline each quarter. Students are nominated by their teachers for accomplishments that are benchmarks in their academic career or demonstrate school leadership.

The Goshen Greats and their families were invited to a breakfast held in the cafeteria in their honor, where they were given certificates of achievement. The Goshen Greats are:

  • Myra Arif, nominated by Math Teacher Christina Maliwacki for her accomplishments in Algebra I
  • William Davis, nominated by Science Teacher Deborah Schulz for his accomplishments in Biology B
  • Raffaele Fidanza, nominated by Business Teacher Danielle Dziedzic for his accomplishments in Career Internship and Foreign Language Teacher Louise Giardina for his accomplishments in Spanish
  • Shanoor Khan, nominated by School Nurse Toni Samuelson for exceptional volunteerism with the blood drive
  • Olivia Klugman, nominated by Social Studies Teacher Marie Jane Panzer for her accomplishments in AP World History
  • Kate Laskoski, nominated by English Teacher Dr. Evelyn Schneider for her accomplishments in AP Literature and Composition
  • Dalia Romero, nominated by Science Teacher Cindy McGlynn for her accomplishments in Earth Science
  • Kiley Rowe, nominated by Music Teacher Kristen Calohan for her accomplishments in Chamber Orchestra
