C. J. Hooker students, staff collect food for local families

Students gathered around a table with food donations. The students and staff of the C. J. Hooker Middle School will make a difference in many people’s lives this holiday season.

The school collected hundreds of non-perishable food items over the past few weeks, led by the Leo Club and Student Government. In addition, students in Jennifer Rosado’s sixth grade homeroom collected the most items in the school.

The food will be donated to the Goshen Intermediate School’s food pantry and will be distributed by the Youth Ending Hunger Club as part of their annual Thanksgiving Food Baskets.
