At a meeting held on September 28, 2016, a committee comprised of teachers, district and building administrators, parents, board of education members, community members, and district of location school administrators met to discuss and decide the use of the allocated Smart Schools Bond Act monies for the Goshen Central School District.
The committee discussed and reviewed each of the six investment options and unanimously decided that the district would use Smart Schools Bond Act monies to bolster school connectivity. Please view the school district’s preliminary plan for more detailed information about the allocations to be filed in the Smart Schools Investment Plan on behalf of the district.
As per New York state education requirements, this preliminary plan will be posted on the website for 30 days (beginning on Oct. 12).
