A note
from the
Scotchtown Avenue cafeteria (Back)
This year has
started off being very busy. Everyone seems to love
our meals, based on the increase in participation
for both breakfast and lunch. We are serving
anywhere from 400 to 500 lunches per day. The
children have done a great job learning their PIN
numbers. The quicker they enter in their number the
faster the line moves. Just for your own curiosity,
ask your child his/her PIN number and let them show
you how well they are doing.
We encourage all students to use their PIN number
for two reasons:
- It alerts the
cashier to any food allergies.
- The student
may choose to save their change on their account
for a future purchase, thereby eliminating the
possibility of the change being misplaced or
ending up in the trash when they throw out their
tray.
Checks for your
child’s account should be made out to Cafeteria
Fund. Also, please note the student’s name and PIN
number in the memo area of the check. Please feel
free to put any amount on your child’s account. If
there is extra money at the end of the school year
it will stay on the student’s account for future
use.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your
child’s account between the hours of 7-11 a.m.,
contact Veann Hansen at 294-2568. During other
times, contact the Food Service Central Office at
294-2545 and they will be happy to assist you.
