WHAT IS THE ROLE OF
THE SOCIAL WORKER?
Your children attend school to learn; however, there may be
times when circumstances interfere with normal academic
progress. Such circumstance may be school or home
related, short or long term. No matter what the cause, we
all need to work together to help your child feel as
comfortable as possible and to provide the
support that will help your child be most successful in
school.
If your family experiences a crisis we can speak
confidentially. I may be able to connect you with resources
to assist your family. We can support your child here at
school in many ways.
If you have any concerns, please contact either your
child's teacher or myself. I am available to communicate
sensitive information to staff as well as to meet with
students, parents, and teachers as the need arises.
If you have a family member serving in the ARMED
FORCES please let us know so that we can provide additional
support to your child if needed.
