  ELA

• Quotation marks
• Vowel sounds (vowels in every word)
• Fiction and Non-Fiction (differences)
• Characteristics of a sentence (spaces between words, period at the end, capital letter at the beginning)
• Adding more to our writing
• Predicting some of the words in a story by looking at the pictures and/or the beginning/ending letter
• Retelling a story/sequencing events
• We point to the words we are reading (one-to-one correspondence)

  Math

• Addition
• We will be starting subtraction soon
• Numeral Writing (watching for reversals)
• Labeling sets of objects (counting sets 0-10)
• Representing sets of objects (ex. drawing 5 flowers to represent the number 5)

  Science

• Movement
• Matter (solids, liquids and gases)
• Sink or float?
