Summer conferences for students entering grade 11
(Back)
Dear Parent:
Each summer, the guidance counselors hold individual
conferences for students entering Grade 11 and their
parents.
The purpose of these conferences at the half-way
mark through high school is to provide students and
parents an opportunity to review the student’s high
school record including progress to date, credits,
course sequences, graduation requirements, schedules
and programs of study for the coming years, and post
high school planning. We will also review the
results of the standardized tests and the Strong
Interest Inventory, which were administered to tenth
graders.
Please call the guidance office at 615-6120 at your
earliest convenience to schedule an appointment with
your student’s counselor. Appointments require
forty-five minutes, and can be scheduled for each
counselor’s students and parents between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the dates listed.
- Mr.
McLoughlin’s students: August 17, 18, 19, 20,
21, 24
- Mrs. Whiting’s
students: July 6, 7, 8, 9, August 10, 11, 12, 13
- Mrs.
Dubatowka’s students: July 27, 28, 29, 30,
August 3, 4, 5, 6
- Mrs.
Criscenzo’s students: July 13, 14, 16, 17, 20,
21, 23, 24
We welcome this
opportunity to meet with parents and students. If
you are not able to schedule an appointment during
the summer, we hope that you can do so in the fall.
Sincerely,
The Goshen High School Counselors
