The Physical Education Department of the Goshen High School has named its Physical Education Students of the Month for December.

Students were nominated by their physical education teachers to receive this honor. Each student received a T-shirt.

“Physical Education is movement using the larger muscles of the body,” said Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi. “This includes sports, dance and the activities of daily life that may be done to accomplish a task, for enjoyment or to improve physical fitness.”

The Students of the Month for December are Shaquille Brown, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Robert McIntee for his participation in basketball; Victor Pasaran, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Gus Lawson for his participation in indoor soccer; Patrick Pierpoint, nominated by Physical Education Teacher John Russo for his participation in indoor soccer; Alex Rotsky, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Joanne Reiser for his participation in indoor soccer; and Elizabeth Spagnoli, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi for her participation in Turbo Jam.
